About the event

What's on

Piercing Festival Łódź 2027 is the part of Łódzkie Warsztaty Piercingu that is open to the public. Throughout the weekend of 20–21 March, Manufaktura will become a meeting place for piercing, jewellery, body art, education and the international piercing community.

Piercers, educators, artists and brand representatives from Poland and abroad will take part. The festival aims to show piercing not only as a service, but as a combination of craftsmanship, art, knowledge, safety, body culture and the international exchange of experience.

From 13 March 2027, Manufaktura will host an exhibition of around 30 works by artists from Poland and around the world. Visitors vote for their favourite pieces, and 10 people drawn from the voters will win a piercing done by the author of the work.

  • Maria Twarowska Piercing Zone

    A zone where piercings are done by the Maria Twarowska Piercing & Beauty team and guest artists from Poland and abroad.

  • Brazil Zone

    A special space dedicated to Brazil: Brazilian piercers, body art, education and Brazilian culture.

  • Happy Piercing Zone

    A zone for children and teenagers – a professional, calm and friendly approach to piercing for younger clients.

  • Snake Bites Zone

    A zone where snakes rule and we perform just one piercing: snake bites. The snakes stay safely in terrariums, looked after by Igor Płatek. Limited places.

  • Artists' exhibition and competition

    From 13 March: an exhibition of 30 works by artists from Poland and around the world. Visitors vote, and 10 people drawn from the voters win a piercing by the author of the work.

  • Suspension Zipline

Piercing Artist Łódź Needs You

We're looking for 30 piercers from Poland and around the world whose work will be presented at a large public exhibition at Manufaktura. We don't care about reach – we care about your work. We want to show piercing not only as a service, but as design, precision, craftsmanship and art created on the human body. You create – we show your work to the people.

  • 30 artists, 30 works, one exhibition at Manufaktura
  • From 13 March 2027, for 9 days, 24 hours a day, your work will be seen by thousands of people
  • We don't care whether you have 500, 5,000 or 500,000 followers
  • The works are voted on by visitors to Manufaktura – not Instagram, not an algorithm, not a committee
  • The authors of the 10 top-rated works will create their piece (or an individual design) for people drawn from the voters
  • New Generation – Łódź: 3 places reserved for young piercers from Łódź who completed their basic course no more than 2 years ago

About the project

Knowledge that stays in your hands

Łódzkie Warsztaty Piercingu (Łódź Piercing Workshops) is a recurring educational event for piercers, organised in Łódź by the Maria Twarowska Piercing & Beauty studio.

We invite speakers from Poland and abroad – especially from Brazil – who share hands-on knowledge: from workplace safety and biosafety, through piercing techniques, to advanced body modification.

Edition IV also has a public part: Piercing Festival Łódź at Manufaktura.

Frequently asked questions

Who are the workshops for?

The lectures and training sessions are for piercers. To take part, you need to have completed a basic piercing course. The public part – Piercing Festival Łódź at Manufaktura – is open to everyone interested in piercing, art and jewellery.

Is the festival open to everyone?

Yes. Piercing Festival Łódź is the part of Łódzkie Warsztaty Piercingu that is open to the public. There is also the Happy Piercing Zone, designed with children and teenagers in mind.

When and where is edition IV?

On 20–21 March 2027 at Manufaktura in Łódź.

How do I buy a ticket?

You can buy tickets online on this website. Sales start soon – we'll also announce it on Instagram.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. When buying your ticket, choose the VAT invoice option and enter your company details.

How many places are there?

Places at the workshops are limited – about 120 people. Don't wait too long to buy.

How do I apply for the Piercing Artist Łódź competition?

Applications are open until 31 January 2027. We're looking for 30 piercers from Poland and around the world – what counts is your work, not your number of followers. 3 places are reserved for young piercers from Łódź (up to 2 years after completing a basic course). Get in touch and we'll reply with the details.

How does the competition voting work?

It isn't decided by Instagram, an algorithm or a committee. From 13 March 2027, visitors to Manufaktura vote for their favourite works. We'll select the 10 top-rated ones, and for each of them we'll draw a winner from the people who voted for it. Each of the 10 winners will get the piece presented by the author – or an individual design agreed with the artist – done by that artist.

Can I get snake bites at the festival?

Yes. In the Snake Bites Zone (20 March 10:00–17:00, 21 March 10:00–16:00) we perform only snake bites, in the company of snakes. The price is PLN 450 – including a photo session, a video by our camera operator and 2 free follow-up consultations. Sign up by email at lodzkiewarsztatypiercingu@gmail.com with "SNAKE BITES ZONE" in the subject line. Places are limited.
